New Here?
Welcome to St. Martin-in-the-Fields!

We are so glad that you are exploring our diverse and growing community. You are welcome here, no matter where you're at in your spiritual journey.

We believe that Jesus is good, and that he is for everyone. Likewise, we believe that learning to follow Jesus is the best way to change the world for the better!

There are lots of ways to get involved and find community at St. Martin's
Visit

The best way to get to know us is to come for a service on a Sunday morning. Come as you are. Your curiosity and questions are welcomed.

Our worship begins at 10:00 am. We use the Book of Alternative Services, which is a liturgy, or prescribed order of serivce, in the Anglican tradition. If this is new for you, not to worry; a greeter will welcome you as you come in and will give you a printed bulletin containing everything that you need to follow along.

Your whole family is welcome at St. Martin's. If you have children, there is a play area with activites for kids. The building barrier-free accessible by elevator. We have a parking lot on the property,  and there is plenty of street parking available in the neighbourhood.

Say 'Hello'

When you're ready to find out more about St. Martin's, you can fill out a Connection Card, found in the pews. A minister will contact you to learn more about who you are, and to answer any questions that you might have about the church.

Join a Group

The next step in connecting with the community at St. Martin's is to find a group or study that is the right fit for you. There are ongoing ministries and episodic studies offered throughout the year.

Whether you're interested in music, learning more about the Christian faith, the Bible, gardening, prayer, or social justice initiatives (food security, refugee settlement, to name a few), we have a group for you!

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get there?

St. Martin's is located at 489 Pinetree Drive, a street that runs north from Riverside Drive, between Wonderland Road and Hyde Park Road. There is a parking lot on the property, including accessible spots, and plenty of free street parking on Pinetree Drive.

What should I wear?

At St. Martin-in-the-Fields, you are welcome as you are. From shorts and a t-shirt, to suit and tie, we hope that you will come in what you feel most comfortable in.

What is the service like?

Each of our Sunday morning services has relevant, Biblically-based preaching and Communion.

All baptized Christians, regardless of the denomination that you were baptized in, are welcome to receive Communion. If you are not baptized, or you would prefer not to receive Communion, you are welcome to gather around the Lord's Table for a prayer of blessing. You may indicate that this is your preference by crossing your arms over your chest.

Gluten free wafers are available upon request.

Rather than coming forward to the Lord's Table, Communion can be brought to you if needed.

The order of our worship can be found on pages 185 and 230 of the Anglican Book of Alternative Services.

Is the building accessible?

Our building is wheelchair accessible by elevator. We have an accessible washroom, designated parking spots, and reserved accessible seating in the sanctuary.

How do I learn more about baptism? Weddings? Funerals?

The best way to learn more about baptism, weddings, or funerals, is to speak with the minister. You may do so by filling out a Connection Card when you're at St. Martin's, or contact the church office.
